--Ecclesiastes 9:7-9
The picture at the right was taken in Napa Valley the day after our 35th anniversary. The picture at the left was taken at Macaroni Grill on our 39th anniversary. We take Ecclesiastes seriously. Though perhaps not soberly.
Our 40th anniversary is coming up, the day after Easter. Lent will be over. Spring will be four days old. The Alleluias will be back.
My beloved speaks and says to me:
"Arise, my love, my fair one,
and come away;"
for now the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
--Song of Solomon 2:10-12
